Siri Brander (1866–1934) was a Finnish composer and animal welfare advocate, born in Vaasa. A contemporary of Jean Sibelius, she was a progressive voice of her time, both musically and socially. Known for her commitment to animal rights, she was as passionate about advocacy as she was about composition—making her a unique figure in Finnish cultural history.
